清远市新城联边线材厂前身是广州新市联边机电设备器材厂,是华南地区最著名的玻璃丝包线生产厂.成立于改革开放初期的一九八二年,经过四分一世纪的不断发展、壮大，现已发展为全国产销最大的玻璃丝包线生产厂家。
为了响应广州市政府提出的产业转移要求，并结合我厂的实际需要，从2004年起，我厂开始逐步搬迁至拥有更加广阔前景的清远市新的生产基地投入运营，随着2007年8月1日，本厂多个职能部门正式在清远新厂办公，标志着搬迁工作完满成功。
新建成的清远基地占地45亩，建筑面积超过20000平方米，车间宽敞明亮，周围环境优美，是一间完全达到现代化生产要求的花园式工厂。
为使产品质量不断提高，单位能耗不断下降，以降低生产运营成本，搬迁后的新工厂采用全新一代自主研发的生产设务备，在强而有力的领导班子带领下，靠着一群高素质的管理人才，使得产品保持一贯的竟争力，销量的不断增加，产生的规模效应又进一步增强产品竟争力，由此形成良性循环，使得本厂不断序上新台阶。

Since the start of the business in 1982, Qingyuan Lianbian Wire Factory of Copper and Aluminum, the precursor of Guangzhou Xinshi Lianbian Electromechanical Device and Equipment Plant which is the most famous glass fiber covered wire manufacturer in south region, now develops to the largest manufacturer in China.
For the demand of industry transfer of Guangzhou Government and our actual need, since our manufactory removed to Qingyuan for wider prospect, the operation of functional departments in Qingyuan marks the succeed accomplishment in 1st Aug, 2007.
The new base occupied 322,921.61 square feet in which the building area is more than 215,280 square feet, is a garden’s factory reaching the modern production requirement.
The new base uses new production equipment for the increase of quality, the reduction of specific energy consumption to reduce the operating cost.
